2 Men Killed in District Heights, Md.; Police Seek Suspects, Witnesses

WASHINGTON — Prince George’s County police are searching for suspects and witnesses linked to a Thursday morning double homicide in District Heights.

Two men were found dead in the parking lot of the Woodland Springs Apartments in the 6600 block of Atwood Street.

After responding to a 12:55 a.m. call reporting the sound of gunshots, police discovered the two African American men in their late 20s suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. They were pronounced dead on the scene at 1:08 a.m.

According to a news release, the suspect or suspects have not been located and the motive and circumstances about the incident are unknown.
This incident is under investigation.
